Montessori Learning at Home – Art Activities

Montessori Learning at Home – Art Activities
We are fascinated with the montessori approach of learning at home by encouraging independence and freedom within limits. Montessori learning respects physiological, physiological and social development.  There are a lot of blogs and ideas out there for parents who wish to encorporate montessori learning at home, we loved these art activity ideas posted on HowWeMontessori.com and we wanted to share it with all of you!
Montessori Art Activities for 2 Years

“There are lots of advantages of rotating art activities like this. We  usually only have three trays out at a time. Although there are often pencils or crayons available in the study.

Having all the items that kids need within the tray makes it easier for them to use and pack up. With the exception of water for washing their paint brush (which he needs to ask me for) and their smock and place-mat which they can access themself. It’s a real self contained way of presenting the materials.
